University

From this new and my first academic period in the university I expect to increase my knowledge because I want to be a very good Dentist. I hope to have great marks in all my subjects even thought that seem to be impossible. I actually want to make a lot of good friends.

Now I’m doing 6 subjects: Biology which is my favorite, Anatomy, Physics and Chemistry which are united, Initiation to the Dentistry, Society and Culture and last, but not least, English.  Society and Culture can be considered like an extracurricular subject because I choose it.

Right now I’m not doing other activities apart of the University because it takes all my time. But, when I have a little of time I want to playing tennis, go to the contemporary art museum and travel to my born country to see all my family and friends.

Venezuelan in Chile. Autobiography.

Hello my name is Gabriel Alessandro Gárate Veroes. How you can read I’m a Venezuelan boy living in Chile. Now I’m fighting against the circumstances to be a dentist in this beauty country. I don’t want to sound sad so I’m going to tell you a little of my past.

I was born on 8th of June, 1995 in the most warm and precious city “El Tigre”, ubicated at the north of Venezuela. I used to live with my parents Gabriel and Patricia and my little dog Kendra until the day I come to Santiago. I have no brothers or sisters, but sometimes I consider to Kendra as my sister haha! I used to go out with my friends every Friday or Saturday and we had a lot of fun. My best friends are Edgardys, Gustavo and Elise. Elise is from Canada and I met her because she was an exchange student. She feels the same like me; we are both in love of the little country Id born. And this is the moment when I tell you the reasons of why I’m here. From the beginning my Father and his family are Chilean, so I have a lot of family here. When I finish the high school I lived in Canada for 4 months. There I learnt English. After that I return to my country to apply to the University. No univerties accept me even with notes (17.50 of 20). Day after day the situation in Venezuela was more difficult, we have to made very large files to buy just a little of food, the insecurity increase more and more, and in March my parents told me about the possibility to study in Chile so I took the offer and I started in this country to improve my quality of live. Now I’m living with my grandaunt in Santiago. I started the university and now I’m studying for be the best Dentist in the world.

                                                  

Other things about me:

I love playing tennis and listening music especially Jason’s Mraz songs. My favorite colors are dark blue and yellow. I considered I consider myself a happy and a kind person, maybe it sounds “cliché” but I like to help the people. I’m always the first person who started to dance on the dance floor and I like dancing salsa, merengue and other Latin’s sounds. I like very much watching movies and also I enjoy seeing paintings.
